The Designer/Creative Director - Chathuri’s work reflects a contemporary, feminine handwriting with distinctive cuts and fabric manipulations which brings out a product thats unique yet wearable.
There is a pivotal point where a designer and their brand evolve into an organization that is much bigger than one person, but still represents the artist’s original vision. Chathuri and her team are doing just that and leaving an impression on the fashion world.

Chathuri grew up in a family of creative spirits, she spent most of her time at her farther’s Art gallery which helped her explore her creative abilities at a very young age.
After graduating with honors with a bachelor of Accounting and Finance degree from “Monash University”, Australia, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passion for design. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from FIDM (Fashion Institute of design and merchandising, Los Angeles). She started her design career as a design intern at Rampage clothing in Los Angeles and moved on to the atelier of BCBG Max Azria as an assistant designer where she learned the art of luxury fashion.
The Launch of ANAYA was very special to the Designer as the brand was inspired by her family, which paved the way to follow her dream of building a fashion empire for the power women of the new era. Inspired by the achievements, and coupled with her industry experience in USA, She took a bold step to start a capsule collection of luxury ready-to-wear at her apartment in Dubai in 2012 and the journey began.
She won the International Young Fashion Entrepreneur award from the British Fashion council at the London Fashion week for her vision for the start up company of Anaya.
Since then, it has morphed into a fully fledged Design and manufacturing company with an in-house atelier, showroom and production facility in the heart of Dubai and retailing in the world’s leading department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols and high-end multi brand boutiques in UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
In 2012, Chathuri was featured in the Fortune Arabia Magazine as one of the top five emerging regional designers and won the Fashion Designer of the year 2014 for Masala Magazine amongst the top Asian Designers in the region.
Her strength lies in knowing her customer, her body and what truly makes her look beautiful, maintaining a signature look which she keeps reinventing season after season carefully crafted in her own Dubai based studio.
